Fucoli-Somepal was founded on July 29th, 1946. It has been a 75-year journey, always in pursuit of excellence, guided by our own strategy, which consists of the design and production in ductile cast iron, of innovative and high-quality solutions.

Today we have on the market a range of more than 6000 products for water, waste water, gas, firefighting and telecommunications networks. We are one of the few companies that can proudly claim that their products are 100% Made in Europe. Our solutions are present in over 50 countries and we operate on a global scale.

We actively contribute to the well-being of future generations and as such, sustainability and social and environmental responsibility are strong components of our conduct. We are an environmentally certified company and in our manufacturing process we use 100% renewable energy. Our products are designed and developed with eco-design as an essential way to promote the circular economy.

This path to success was largely driven by our CEO Mr. Álvaro Mendes Pereira, an entrepreneur and visionary man, who realised early on that Fucoli-Somepal's success depended on know-how, production process control, development of new products, geographical spread and the loyalty of the international markets.

We did not take this path alone, it was fundamental the intervention of:
